Research and Education

The Office of Clinical Partnerships (OCP) combines clinical and investigative interests and strengths in a collaborative framework for biomedical research and development. Developing exciting new ways to partner basic discoveries in the lab with applications in the clinical world and at the patient’s bedside fosters multidisciplinary collaboration and innovation among scientists and clinicians. Innovative solutions that occur through collaborative research together can lead to multidimensional approaches to disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Our goals are to:

  1. simplify the process of establishing new research collaborations
  2. make it easier for ASU researchers to find clinical collaborators
  3. direct clinical researchers to their counterparts at ASU

This framework has the added advantage of helping all parties to more tightly link interdisciplinary initiatives across departments, across colleges, and across all ASU campuses.
